For the 1st time, Mummy brought the kids swimming on her own!!! Was quite scare initially but gave in to their repeated pleas....Everything went on quite smoothly, have to be very extra careful with my wild horse (Claudia) cos this dare devil will venture around on her own..
Claudia drank water at least 3 times but she dun seems to be afraid at all!!! Mummy went down the slide with her for more than 10 times!!! Hit my head, my knees and my backside... cos I am too big for the slide....hahaha....
Din take my camera along cos I know I wont have the time for photos.....

Sentosa Flowers 2009
Mummy brought the 2 kids to Sentosa, expecting lots of beautiful flowers.... but it turned out to be quite a disappointment..... flowers quite a lot but not spectacular... haha... maybe Muumy expected too much.... the hot sun is burning!! But its quite nice to have a walk around the island with my kids :)

Full time SAHM
Since beginning of the year, I upgraded to full time sahm.... (though I still have to do paperwork at home plus going to store for misc stuff) but my main duty is my 2 kids cos both of them are going half day school.....
People have been telling me it is easy life, elders have been saying how they look after their many kids in the past, even me myself used to tink it will be better cos my morning are free.... but how wrong I am!!! Its more more tiring than before and my patience is undergoing a tough test!!!
People who say its easy life are those who have never been through it b4 or have helper at home!!! Elders who have been through it should be told tat kids now and then are totally different!!! During our childhood time, most kids are so guai and innocent... why got so smart like now??
The pathetic 3 hours when they were in school, Mummy have to eat breakfast, do marketing, run errands, prepare simple lunch plus forever unfinished housework..... my mornings are always in a rush, dunno why I forever time not enough.....
Once the kids are home, I will be busier.... feed them, got to tink of things to entertain them, endure Claudia's cries for attention, be mediator for their fights...... finally their nap time is the only time I have some saint Me time.... tats why I still insist Evan take aft nap, for his good and my good.... haha....
I have to admit that my temper is getting worse.... :( I seems to lost it more often, get angry easier.... oh gosh.... I tink Evan can sense it.... I was telling him I will get sad when he dun behave... his answer stunned me and make me reflect "But children will also get sad when Mummy scold them so often" Its time for me to think think and think...... being a sahm is to have better bonding with my kids, must make sure I keep that in mind!!!

CNY Day 3
For dunno wat reason, Mummy was in ultra good mood :) Kids slept till 6pm and I decided to bring them out alone.... in a BUS!!! Usually I will not bring them out when I dun have car, find it such a hassle...
To make things less challenging, I brought them to Parkway cos we have direct bus..... My 2 mountain tortoises must have been such a nuisance to other passengers.... haha.... lots of questions... Other than this, their furthest bus ride was 2 stops, to Ah Ma place.....
The moment we reached there, Evan claimed that he is hungry though he just had dinner at home... ok fine... he wants Mac again... but he finished his happy meal so well mmm...... guess he is really hungry... haha...

Cos of the strong wind, our tissues was blown away, scattered all over the place... My very considerate gal insisted to pick up all one by one and throw them into the dustbin... Any award for her?? hahaha.... so nice hor....
Actually Mummy wanted to go shopping but we were stuck at the entrance for very long cos of tis 3 moo-moo..... Claudia keep saying it is a pig.... haha.... There is music from the moo-moo and the 2 of them were busy dancing around it... oh gosh... wat a sight....(Will try to upload the video some other day)
CNY Day 2
Its a more relax day cos the kids were too tired for the past 2 days... We only went Da Yi-po place to bai nian... then went home to prepare for the steamboat dinner....
Claudia loves to lie down on Evan whenever he is on the ground.....treating him like her personal mattress.... haha...
Ah Ma and her beloved grand daughter....

CNY Day 1 Part 2
We went Ye² n Nai² place to bai nian in the evening.... Seeing the elders playing mahjong, Mummy hands suddenly itchy... haha... have not played for 4 years liao.... We managed to get 4 legs and make do with a small tiny table... haha... so pathetic.... but Mummy's luck was good!! My kids were being entertained by 2 Jie² so can play quite peacefully.... heehee....

CNY Day 1 Part 1
Evan complained that he has no "New Year Clothes" as in traditional clothes.... haha.... had to coax him that he looks more handsome in shirt and pants.... haha.... Claudia looks sooooo sweet in her dress, pretty pretty gal....
But this is the result of her pretty dress by lunch time!!!! Oh my god.... Faintz.....1st stop is Gong² and Ah Ma's place... we had lunch there, Mummy was too hungry to take any photos... heehee....
Then we proceed to Great-grandma's place at Joo Chiat.... Daddy's aunt/uncles and family are all there.... my kids were busy playing in the garden with the Jie² there.... fun again....
Evan had his 1st try at poker cards with Daddy, busy being his Daddy's finance controller... haha... see how serious he is.....
How about now??? Daddy is still there playing mahjong and my kids are soundly asleep... tats why Mummy have time to chiong on her blog updates... haha.....
Big Reunion Dinner
Its the Ding family dinner on CNY Eve.... wow wow... everybody was at my in law place tis year and its such a crowd!!!
My kids enjoying the cold drink before the buffet started!! Gor² teaching Mei² how to cheers!!! Well well wat to do... its the festive season, let them enjoy lor.....
Managed to coax my kids to have a nice picture taken with me and Ye²....
The 6 great grandchildren have fun together, playing lots of toys and messing up the whole living hall!! haha... Evan was busy bringing out his boxes of toys....

Ah Ma will buy them new pyjamas for them to wear on the eve every year.... This year is about animals.... Evan got a Moo-moo one and Claudia got a Meow-meow one..... so cute....
Both of them were soooo tired that they were knocked out immediately they hit their bed.... haha... at last peace for Mummy..... tiring day!!!!
CNY Eve Part 2
Mummy had to work in the afternoon but Evan refused to stay at in law place AGAIN !!!! oh gosh I am really really relunctant to bring him along... cos it will be a busy busy day at store.... but wat to do... Daddy said not to force him cos it will only make him more resistant....
I make him promised that he will behave himself and not to disturb us... of cos he everything also say ok lor...... But today he really behaved so badly.... maybe bcos we are really too busy to entertain him and he started to get bored....
He keep on doing funny things to disturb us and in the end broke my door with his cow strength!!! We totally have no idea how a 4 year old boy has the capability to break it and Mummy really bursted!!!! I hitted him when we went home to change :(
I hate to do it, especially during this time.... but I had to teach him a lesson to make him understand the importance of not disturbing us at work... oh how my heart aches....

Daddy left for work early in the morning..... Mummy brought the kids for breakfast at Kallang Mac.... wonderful!!! cos there is a playground to entertain them while I enjoyed my cup of coffee... heehee....
Then we went for a car-wash at the petrol kiosk which the kids love!!!
Reunion Dinner 1
As usual, we had reunion dinner with my parents one day before New Year Eve.... Tis year we had a new member, Jui²'s girlfriend Minyi joined us.....
Its the steamboat AGAIN.... hahahaha..... the grandchildren are not so interested in that.... they enjoyed the Yu Sheng more.... loves to have fun and create a mess!!! But it makes them learn how to use the chopsticks....

Afternoon Nap
Evan has been asking to skip aft nap, keep saying he is not tired... initially Mummy tot its bcos he still cant get used to half -day so probably too excited to sleep in e aft.... Upon my insistence, he will still sleep at least 2 hours....
But tis week Mummy is really having prob putting him to bed.... he will toss and turn for almost 2 hours but still wide awake!!! If I gets angry and "force" him to sleep, he will.... but due to the time waste on tossing and turning, he wil only wake up at 6pm.... and that makes it difficult to go to bed at 9pm....
If he skips his nap, he will be soooo tired by 8+ and will be immediately knocked out once he finish his milk..... like so poor thing leh... I am really so tempted to let him forgo his aft nap, though we tink its still impt for his age to take a nap :(

CNY Party in school
They had their party today.... dressed them up in the traditional clothes, Claudia looks so adorable and Evan so handsome!! haha... tis mummy buey pai seh....
Teacher told me Evan always look after his sister... They were given the tiny oranges to peel for themselves and he peeled one for his sister first.... so loving.... 
My "some seng" gal torn the buttons on her blouse within a few hours!!! OMG... its the first time she is wearing it.... In the end, we had to use safety pins to hold the blouse tog.... Claudia u are a girl, can u behave like one???

Dolls???
Mummy found my 25 yr old Barbie doll druing spring cleaning, tot wanna clean it and let Claudia play with it.... But b4 I can do tat, Evan had spotted it and started playing with it... Oh gosh... He seems to enjoy it, dun know if Daddy will faint when he sees the photos.... haha...
Busy dressing the doll, combing her hair and matching her clothes and shoes.... haha....
CNY Card
Mummy decided to let Evan make some real simple CNY cards for the grandparents.... though it seems a bit too late... heehee... dunno if postman can make it in time....
From writing, sealing the envelope, pasting stamp to throwing it into postbox, He did everything himself with my guidance.... He is enjoying the process....
