Changing school

We had decided to withdraw Evan from his school... finally... Daddy gave the nod... He got pissed off when they say they are going to increase the school fees by $50... When we first joined, we were promised that his fees will not be increased until he withdraw... but now they say its an increase across the board so his will be affected too... wat logic is that?

Furthermore, today during the Teacher-meet-parent session, we were told that they are going to introduce an extra Chinese enrichment course which we have to pay extra $80 a month... Though they say its optional but it will be scheduled within the lesson time, if the kid chose not to join then he will continue to have his normal lesson... ????? We tink they are just trying to make more $$$.... A bit ridiculous right? Then sooner or later they are going to come out with all different kind of enrichment course.... then their teachers will be so free during all these time while the parents pay extra.....

So will enrol Evan in the same school as Claudia next year... pray hard that they will like it there.... but it will be half day so Mummy gonna be very busy.....

Mummy had an interesting conversation with Claudia in the car today... Dun know if I should laugh or take more deep breathe...

She got 1001 Whys... Aiyo... Mummy is having problems finding answers to all her Why... But realise she can really speak quite well for her age now... She can tell me Mummy I dun wan eat tis.... I wan drink soup/water... Cannot cry cry in a car... daddy keep all a pen... I wan play toy... I wan eat cheese... I love u... (She can't say "the" so it becomes "a") and quite a bit of chinese words... Mummy loves to hear her say "Ai Ni" ... sound so sweet....

Play Time

Whenever my 2 little rascals go into the playroom, they always create a mess......But Mummy has a simple rule : Play anything and everything u wan but be responsible for your acts, pack up before u leave... Now even Claudia can abide by the rule, Mummy is so glad :) Actually soft approach works better on my kids, the more u shout at them, the more reluctant they are to keep the things... same for any other rules.... but sometimes it really takes lots of patience to do that.... Mummy needs to take lots of deep breathe... haha...

Poo Poo Again

Claudia poo poo for 6 times today but no no its not diarrhoea... Mummy suspect her last molar is coming out soon as she has been putting her fingers into her mouth tis 2 days... She keep telling me "Mummy I poo poo again"... initially thought she was joking but its for real.... Or maybe she had eat too much over the weekend....

For the past 2 nights, she managed to sleep through the night... waking up only at 6am to have her milk before falling asleep again... Mummy crossing fingers, hoping she can continue doing it... :)

My kind-hearted boy

For the past few monday evening, we have been watching this 8pm show on Channel 8 "Life Transformers". Every week, there is a different real-life story abt ppl who need help and how the hosts and volunteers help them.... Evan is always very interested in the stories...

Mummy wanted Evan to know how fortunate he is and there are ppl around who are not so lucky and needs help... This week the story was abt a poor family and the mother-of-5 is sick thus unable to work... You know what? Half way through, Evan asked me if I can find out where they stay and he wanna go visit them and help them after school tommorrow.... Mummy feels so glad that he is such a kind and helpful boy, hopes he will grow up the same way....

Short trip to Muar

It was a last minute plan... actually supposed to go for 2D1N trip with Aunt Sher & family over the weekend but she fell sick in e morning of departure... so sad.... so Mummy decided to drag Ah Ma along... heehee... afterall Muar is her hometown and her sis/bro are there so she went along... as our tour guide....

My kids were soooo excited, especially Evan.... Actually there is nothing interesting about the place.... just lots of cheap and nice food to eat, go visit Yi-po and Jui-gong, tats about it... My kids are quite kampong-friendly, they love to just walk around, see flowers, see stray dogs, see old houses and eat and eat with us... haha... Evan commented "Eat again?" whenever we going for meals... haha...

Holiday Holiday

Mummy yearns to go for holiday leh.... its been years since I last took a plane.... :( When when? Daddy also... he said he has been working non stop since July, needs a break to recharge too, before he go crazy in the store... haha... yup its been many tiring months for us...

For the past year, we have been driving to Malaysia for our short trips... It is an easy and economic way for us to rest and relax, especially with my mischievious babes around.... Tinking of going Sydney next year, since Aunt Wendy is going to provide us with free accomodation... heehee....

Its gonna be festive season soon.... so it means we gonna be busy AGAIN.... maybe another malaysia trip?? But Evan has been telling me he wanna take areoplane... Mmm...

Recently Evan seems to be more well-behaved and sensible though still as active.... Mummy is trying very hard to train him to sit through mealtimes... After 1 week, started to see improvement already.. He will finish his food before getting off the chair though constant reminders are required, especially when his sister is running around....

We realise something too... he is scared to hear me say " Mummy count to 3, 1..." When I started counting 1, he will stop his mischief and come to me or do whatever that I had said... Mmmm.... Mummy also dun know why and what I will do if I count to 3... hee hee.... Daddy said maybe he just dun wan me to get angry but so far it only works when Mummy says it... a good way to make him behave without scolding :) but dun long how long it can work.....

Little Princess

Little princess is still vomitting... aiya... last night woke up to vomit at 4am... dunno wats is wrong with her leh.... and she only wan her Daddy last night, keep on "Daddy Daddy"... But other than vomitting, she is active and happy, dun look sick at all....

Brought her to see physician today... he said could be minor gastric flu... cos her digestive system is weak so any virus can cause her to vomit easily.... true also, actually everytime she dun feel well, vomit is sure to be part of it.... hopefully she can recover soon....

Kiddy rides

Another good thing about my little rascals is they seldom ask to put coins in all these kiddy rides... cos they know Mummy will say no... save quite a bit of $$ for Mummy :) They will sit on it just for the fun... But of cos when grandparents or friends are around, the story is different......

Gal Vomit again

Claudia have this problem since baby, she frequently vomits..... Dunno wats wrong with her exactly... doc say maybe indigestion... but when she was a baby... she will vomit her milk frequently too, tot milk is the easiest thing for them to digest? Then when she start to take semi-solid, Mummy tried to give her all kinds of food but she rejected all....she dun take cereal and porridge... till now her diet is still very pathetic, a little bit of everything but not a proper meal... Can't force her to eat else she will vomit... But the best part is when it comes to tidbits, she can eat a lot!!!! So is she just a fussy eater or indigestion?

So it has been a headache for Mummy, always worried that she dun get enough nutrients, her main source of diet is still milk.... So guess what Mummy does? Use 170ml of soup to make milk for her everyday, at least she gets the nutrients from the soup...I can also mix the TMC "brown powder" in her milk... Funny right? Doesn't her milk taste weird? She can actually drink that but when it comes to proper food, she is very picky....Haiz.....

Since she started on TMC 6 months ago, her vomitting more or less stopped... But since last fri, the constant vomitting started again, maybe like once in 2 days... Worst one was last night, she woke up at 12am and I tink she vomited everything that is in her tummy... OMG and throughout the night, she was cranky and hardly sleep much..... Make milk, put oil on tummy, insisted she poo poo but did not, keep crying for Daddy and Mummy.... It went on for the whole night, Mummy dun know should be angry or sad... we were sooooo tired... hopefully she will be ok tonight... pleaseeeee......

Arcade

Mummy's latest fav past-time with kids - Timezone Arcade at Parkway Parade... The kids love to play there since months ago... but recently Mummy have been bringing them there whenever she is alone to take care of kids... Parkway is Mummy's fav shopping ctr other than Compass cos there is lots of things to entertain kids and easy to handle them there.... Arcade, Giant, Cold storage, Isetan toys dept, many kiddy rides and lunch at Pastamania or Fish&Co... then just nice to go home for aft nap....

The best part of my kids is they can spend at least an hour at the arcade without spending any money !!! They will just try out every game and that's it... Sometimes Mummy wonders arent they sick of the same game every time... just see see look look also shiok??? So sometimes when they really behave themselves, Mummy will let them play a few ball games which Claudia loves!!

But whenever Daddy is around, he sure will play the "sweets machine" with Evan... and the kids will have plenty of sweets to eat !!! Haiz... Daddy is always their supporter when it comes to sweets and tidbits...

Cold weather

It has been raining for the past few nights.... such a nice weather to sleep.... Maybe bcos of the weather, Claudia seems to sleep better for the past 2 nights, woke up only twice in the night for milk but went back to sleep without crying... (cross my fingers)

My kids are sweet to me... they will wake their Daddy up every morning, especially Claudia, to make milk and to wash backside when she poo poo... haha... they will just let me laze in bed for as long as I wan to, maybe they knows I din sleep well every night :) but they had pampered Mummy too much, today I actually woke up at 9am!!! oh gosh... wat a lazy Mummy, all thanks to the weather lah, my alarm cant wake me up...

As expected, Evan was late for school. We only managed to reach school at 10am.... OMG all Mummy's fault today.... Will make sure it dun happen again.... hee hee...

Laughter

Mummy only makes some smiling faces at Claudia and she can keep on laughing.... That's how simple a child is..... all she needs is Mummy's full attention and she is happy.... That's wat Mummy's life is all about - laughter and smiles from her 2 little rascals....

Wat a bite !!!

Yest Daddy and Mummy were in the front seat while driving back home.... my 2 little rascals were playing happily at their seats.... Suddenly Evan cried very loudly.... guess what happen? Claudia bite him on the shoulder for no reason!!! He was wearing a T-shirt but the bite mark is super obvious.... OMG poor Evan.... He said " Mummy I thought mei mei wan to kiss me" with his tears rolling down his cheeks..... Heartpain.... Claudia seems to know the seriousness of her action and keep saying "soli gou gou.... cannot bite"

Well the best part is... I was telling my mum about this story today in HOKKIEN.... and when the story is over, Claudia said "I bite gor gor, cannot" Wow does that mean she already understand Hokkien? she knows what we were talking about!!!

Little princess is talking a lot recently... realise she can say a lot of words recently and her pronunciation is quite clear.... Her invincible vocal weapon is "Please, can?" Everytime she uses that on Daddy and Mummy, we can't help but to give in... hee...

We went to Aunt Shermaine's house for steamboat dinner... and of cos e 4 kids had great fun after dinner..... but having 4 kids under one roof is just so rowdy and noisy.... Wa.... cant imagine how it will be like when Sher's 3rd child arrive in a few months time....

Recently a lot of people around me are pregnant, maybe baby bonus is really attractive... hehe..... everytime I know someone is gonna have a new baby, I felt so happy for them.... Kids are a priceless gift from heaven.... makes me feel like getting pregnant again... haha,... but no no I am not ready to be a mum-of-3 yet.... mentally, physically and financially not prepared.... Though mummy and daddy's ideal is 3 kids but well well.... its just a dream :)

Irreversible Relationship

Actually Mummy "ming jian".... she could have someone to look after her kids whenever she wants to... But the wilful and rebellious side of her simply refuses the help or maybe resented the help... Cos when she needed help most 4 years ago, she was being rejected and betrayed!!! That explains why no matter how tough it was for the past 4 years, Mummy insisted on looking after her babes, sacrificing her own time and enjoyment.... I really appreciated the understanding of my friends whenever I "fly their aeroplane" and most importantly my own mum who had stand by me and helped me throughout no matter how tired she was....

Maybe as Daddy said, I am just being stubborn but thats just who I am... I just couldnt forgive and forget what happened.... the grievances that I suffered and the tears that I shed in that month was just so unforgettable....I trusted and listened but was betrayed and forced to shoulder the responsibility, when it was not my fault at all.... For the sake of those who had heard the betrayal story umpteen times, I will not repeat it again... But the thorn is always in my heart so no matter what happen now, I will not believe, will not trust, will not appreciate, will not entrust my kids to..... I know who are the ones that really care and love me.....

Evan 4th Bday Part 3

As planned, we brought Evan to the Disney restaurant at AnchorPoint on his birthday... They gave him a free ice-cream and sang him a birthday song... See how shy he is...

This is the only thing Mummy found attractive but the rest of the restaurant sucks!!!! The food is horrible, it was pre-prepared at other places and they just heat up before serving... The place is extremely small... its so different from wat Mummy read in magazine and online.... haiz.... nothing in it appeals to those who were around....

Though they have 2 little computers there but its keep hanging... So din keep Evan occupied for long....

Mummy was sorting the old photos while all my bosses are having their long afternoon nap... Realise Evan was more handsome when he is a baby.... hehe.... and more chubby.... Why the more he eat, the skinner he gets..... Where did all the food and milk goes to?????

I knew there is duty roster in the school but I was really surprised when I saw Evan took the cloth and started cleaning the table after his lunch !!! And its his own initiative, nobody told him to do it.... At home he only does it when Mummy ask him to..... Maybe I should have a duty roster at home too....Mmm......

School for Little princess

Mummy have finally register Claudia for school starting Dec 08!!! Have been looking at lots of playgrp schools until Daddy gave up on my updates... haha.... have finally decided on one near our home... Its actually a child care centre but I only put her there half day..... Mmm... Mummy actually look forward to it cos I can finally have some Me-time in the morning.... hehe... can have my breakfast and do my marketing in peace....

Hopefully she will be happy there, Daddy hopes we won't get any complain abt her hitting ppl... haha.... little terror!!! Claudia have been saying "Mei Mei wan go school" everyday... though i guess she meant Evan's school.... but nope we cannot afford to put both of them there.... so too bad for her... Daddy always says its so unfair to her... well well....

If things go well in the new school then most probably Mummy will change Evan over too.... He saw the school already and seems quite happy with it... but tink it will be a difficult change for him afterall he has been at MMI for 2.5 years already.....

2 little cows

My kids are milk-lovers!!! 1 big tin of milk powder can only last them 2 weeks max... I dun know if its the normal amt for other kids. For ClaudiaI find it ok cos she dun eat much during meal times so I guess she should be hungry but for Evan, I find it a bit "kua zhang" cos he is eating his rice, soup, water, fruits and snacks since 6pm, how can he possibly still drink 2 big bottles of milk at 9pm??

But well Mummy loves her kids to drink milk cos I tink that's the best thing for them in their growing years... wat to do....

No camera.... sad..

Mummy sent her camera for repair last week, guess how much its gonna cost me? $214 !!!! Crazy right... so ex... So Mummy decided to buy a new one which costs $299, burnt a hole in pocket again.... but wat to do, I can't live without a camera....especially when my Baobei's birthday is round the corner....

This few days Mummy was busy cooking, cleaning and preparing for Evan's 4th birthday for the weekend... He is going to have his birthday party in school on Fri so have to buy all the goodies for his friends' goodie bags and most importantly order a BIG barney cake for him...

And for Sunday, he will be celebrating with Ye² and Nai²... As usual family dinner but tis year Mummy had decided to go Disney restaurant for dinner.... Dun know if the food is nice there but tink the kids will like the atmosphere there, though Mummy never been there before but it seems quite interesting... Anyway no money to go real Disneyland for holiday so just settle for Disney restaurant first....

I am back !!

Hi all I am finally back online after one week break !!! Done my lasik on tues so tried to rest my eyes as much as possible for 1st 2 days... Later part of the week was very busy with work at store and attend meeting..... entertain my 2 mischievous babes.... doing all the unfinished housework.... busy busy....

This week my timing should be back to normal and Mummy already start to plan meal roster for the week !!! Poor yellow-faced woman..... Evan reminded me of my duty on friday night, after collecting our dinner boxes from Ah Ma's house... He said " Mummy I am so disappointed cos you did not cook dinner for me for so many days" *Faintz*

MMI Concert

Evan took part in MMI graduation concert and their class done an Indian dance... See his costume? This outfit costs Mummy $55 !!!! Heartpain sia... only one time use....OMG Sooooo expensive!!!
