Birthday cake

Today we walked past Prima cake shop and Claudia spotted a nice birthday cake.... and she started nagging from tat moment " Mummy I wan birthday cake, I wan blow candles" These are her exact words and she keep repeating till we got to the carpark.... then she started wailing, insist to go back to tat shop to buy cake....

For a second, I really wanted to go back and buy it for her.... but did not, din wan to give in to her cries and find it very funny to have a birthday cake for no reason.... Mmmm.... she have not had a birthday party :P oopss..... a bit unfair hor.... wait till she grow up and realise she has no birthday party photos... oops oops.... tink tis mummy needs a slap on her head... :( cos her birthday is cny season mah... excuses!!!

Btw she bited her brother AGAIN ... tis time bited his backside!!! OMG din wan to take a photo cos its his backside... haha... cannot disgrace him here.... but imagine the tiny bite mark was red and blue black though he is wearing his underwear and pants.... aiya.. really no eyes to see ah..

Can someone teach me how to "teach" her? obviously beating dun work on her cos i smack her mouth everytime she bite him but she still does it time after time... hai... (maybe I din smack hard enough????) but I beat her hands real hard when she cut my sofa but guess wat? she done it AGAIN!!! tis time I feel so si xin.... no heart to beat her liao....

Daddy said I am very very patient with Claudia nowadays.... I tolerated her whines and cries... din get angry with her easily even when she managed to make Daddy mad.... he says I use lots of love education on her now... hahaha.... Mummy is learning to be a better mum to her.... hahaha

Ikea here I comes!!!

Evan is a frequent supporter of Ikea playground.... Claudia always wanted to join but still cannot meet the minimum height requirement of 80cm....

Today we tried again and surprised to know that she is actually 83cm already !! so it means she can go in with her brother liao.... haha... such a joyful thing (more for Mummy.. haha) Finally can leave her there for 1 hr and enjoy my coffee in peace..... heehee

She is very happy in there... busy playing with Evan and other children.... Being a independant child, she can't wait to go in.... haha.... can't wait to kiss and say bye to us.... Evan did not forget to look after her when he is having fun, he will give her water and make sure she follows him.... Not a bad idea huh... let them have some bonding time and Mummy can have some Me-time/ couple time....

Daddy says Claudia will be a frequent supporter very soon.... hahaha....

Car mechanic or designer?

Evan is super interested in cars.... always curious about how the car function.... He just borrowed a book about all the parts of a car from the library, keeps bugging us to open the bonnet to show him the engine....

Daddy says he will be a car mechanic in future :( but Mummy dun wan hahaha... isnt it better to be a car designer? or a F1 driver??

Animal Resort

We brought the kids to Animal Resort at Seletar farmway on Sunday... We have been to one that is similar at Pasir Ris and the kids love it so we tot this will be fun too.... They have more different animals here but its not as fun cos it is quite badly maintained.... Koi fish only a few pathetic ones.... no fishing for kids....

But they got peacock... stock... chicken.... goose... parrots.... rabbits... turtle....

And we saw 2 tiny new born rabbits....

Of cos the feeding is the fun part for the kids... but can feed rabbits and fishes only....

Happy gal

My aunt/ uncle came from Malaysia with their son for a one day trip.... My kids adore their Wenyi Gor², especially Claudia.... She only wants to hold his hand instead of mine, followed him everywhere and cried when he left....

Feeling guilty

Mummy is feeling guilty about complaining so much about Claudia.... hahaha... afterall she will be my best friend in 20 yrs time so must learn to appreciate her more....hahaha.... I just wan her to grow up in a happy environment and have a memorable childhood..... Always remind myself she is a priceless gift.......

Actually Mummy's patience towards her is getting better.... tried very hard to talk to her nicely all the time though she can really get on my nerves sometimes.... But she can be a real sweet little girl, her hugs, kisses and I love you are endless..... though she is a more difficult child compared to Evan but I still believe my love,patience and efforts will be paid off in future...

When she is in a good mood, she can sit down alone and start singing songs.... But everytime she sees my camera, she stop... so have not manage to get a video of her singing.... Today managed to capture a bit....

Excursion

Evan had his 1st excursion with his new school.... Was very excited, managed to wake up at 7am to make it on time, see his sleepy eyes..... They went to Aero Green Technology Farm, to know more about vegetables....

Due to the episode of red paint, Mummy had forgotten to ask him more about the trip.... haiz... This blur Mummy din realise I asked him to pose next to a dustbin.... hahahaha....

Another horror story

This happens before CNY but Mummy din wan to blog about it.... But since this 2 days, I have been blogging about my little terror Claudia, might as well keep tis under records too....

One fine day, she took a scissors and cut a tiny hole in my sofa... Of cos she got scolding and a smack on her hands but tat does not deter her from doing it again.... A few days later, she cut another hole!!!!

That created my new designer "Beggar sofa".... OMG!!! I was totally speechless....

Glass Art

Mummy bought this DIY glass deco art for Evan sometime ago but havent really got a chance to do it with him....

Can you imagine my horror, shock and anger when I walked into the room to see tis mess on the bed created by my precious Claudia?!?! I almost fainted!! but decided to grab my camera to take a picture as evidence for Daddy to see....

Initially I thought it was blood all over the place, had a shock of my life... till I saw her standing in the toilet, trying very hard to wash her hands....

I was away in the kitchen only for a while just to make milk.... She squeezed out almost the entire tube of red paint !!! It was all over the place... the bed, floor, her feet, shirt, pants and hands.... the wall, toilet basin and towel.....

I was so mad that I dun even have the energy to scold her, just wanna clear up the mess FAST before she makes it worst..... When I was done, sat her down and started my lecture.... Her very nice brother came to plead for her, ask me to give her a chance and not to beat her.... by then I just feel so tired, dun wanna create another crying episode by beating her...

Bedtime

I still put Claudia in her yao lan every night till she falls asleep then I carry her to bed.... She seems a bit too big for yao lan already but sorry... tats the easier way to put her to bed.... I do not have the patience to lie down with her for an hour, waiting for her to doze off.... Usually I will doze off before she does... heehee.....

Though in yao lan but she will still take quite a while..... She will talk and talk and talk in there, expecting you to answer her.... Evan used to mumble before he falls asleep too but he does it on his own, I dun have to entertain him.....

Claudia hor.... as if she has not tortured me enough tis evening, she talked for an hour before she is willing to close her eyes!!! Expecting me to answer her every question... oh oh I am going crazy tonight.... She has finally falls asleep, is tat the end of the night??? Will she wake up in the middle of the night again????? Oh please.....

"Brave" Gal

Daddy and Mummy really salute to Claudia!! She is a brave fearless dare-devil wild horse beyond control !!!

Today while Evan was having his art class, we brought her to CP walk walk and have dinner at Delifrance... I cannot have my dinner in peace, she went into the arcade on her own so we haveto take turn to eat... ok fine....

Then we went shopping or rather she bring us shopping cos half the time she was leading the way.... ok fine we gave up on shopping....

so wats the next best thing to do? bring her to store and buy hottis for her.... we surrender!! Only tat can keep her quiet and still for a while.... Quickly picked Evan and go home, thinking tats the end of the night....

From carpark to home, we will pass by a playground.... she ignore us and went ahead to play on her own!!! Mummy was real angry already, walked to a corner to hide.... Evan cannot bear to leave his sister alone so keep calling her... but Claudia totally ignored him!!! Till Evan gave up and joined me....

My neighbour walked pass and tried to get her to look for me but she continued to play....OMG!! That went on for 10 mins till Daddy came from the carpark, he din managed to bring her down too.... All this while when she was playing, she dun seems to be affected by the fact that we are not around.... Mummy is filled with anger!!! Walked to her and catch her by force....

The best part is she din cry but keep saying " Mummy i love you correct?" At tis point, my heart melted but tried not to smile at her.... Is tis the in-born skill of a girl?? Actually made up my mind that I am going to beat her when we get home but just can't bear to do it..... Haiz.... I am real mad lor, taking deep breathe one after another.... tink I will go out of breathe soon.... Can you sense my anger reading this long long post?

Sometimes when I see other Mummies holding their little gal's hand, walking around... I really envy them.... I am just not fortunate enough :( Claudia behaves more like a boy, Evan is the one who is always holding my hand, walking next to me when we go out, and u can hear me keep saying "Mei² wait for me, dun run" ..... Daddy always say endure and she will be your best friend 20 years later, just like me and my mum.... oh oh will it ever happen? Even if it does, I need to be tortured for another 20 years??!!?!?!?!?

Their Notebook

When Mummy was in the shower this morning, din hear anything from my kids which is quite weird.... I was tinking they must be up to some mischief again... But no no... they were seated quietly playing with their notebook which Nai² had bought for them....

To prevent quarrel, Nai² bought one each... but still they fight over it... They seems to tink that the other one is better... haiz....

A hot day

Daddy is off in the morning ... since he hardly get a weekday off, we decided to bring kids swimming after school .... hahaha.... He is super relunctant, he is so afraid of the sun cos he gets sunburn very very easily.... haha... but for his 2 baobei, wat to do cos he has a meeting to attend in the afternoon....

Mummy wanted to swim too... so managed to coax the kids to stay in their pool with Daddy while I sneaked off to have a peaceful swim.... so nice....

Evan is more confident in water now though he still hold on to me tightly... but at least he is willing to go into the deeper pool and kick around.... my efforts were paid off.... We decided to let him start swimming lesson when he is more comfortable with it... tink very soon.... heehee....

Nothing special

Mummy have nothing to blog about actually.... tis few days has been quite peaceful, standard routine... Daddy has been busy at work so I am busy at home too....

Brought Claudia to visit Aunt Sher and baby on Thurs, tis gal seems to love baby... She insist I carry the baby, refuses to let Aunt Sher carry... haha... She keep on sayang and kiss the baby...

Today I brought them swimming alone again, still quite stressful for me but they enjoyed themselves... Surprisingly the pool was quite empty for a Sat morning so tat makes things easier for me.. :) Evan is learning to look after his sister, he will hold her hands and bring her up the water slide... such a pity Mummy cant take photos, should buy a under water camera... haha...

For the very 1st time, I bring along the kids when I go for a quick haircut.... Claudia was seated beside me, busy reading books as if she really can... haha... Evan walked around and chit chat with the aunt... It was easier than wat I expected... haha... Good try!!!

Can u see the red scratches near his eye? She pinched his eyes!! AGAIN!!! As mischievious as Evan can be, he does not hurt his sister or other people on purpose... but Claudia.... she had pinched, bite, hit and pulled his hair for umpteen times.... till we lost count....

I wonder if she does that in school??? Mmmm.... so far no complain yet... pray hard!!!

Recycle

Mummy has been so ON about recycling recently... will put all the recyclable things in a bag and bring it to a collection point near our place every 1st sat of the month.... Every kg of things u accumulate will entitle u to change for some grocery like rice, salt and noodles...

I try to engage Evan on a daily basis to help him understand more about recycling and he seems to love it.... So happen that we just bought a new tv so might as well put everything inside the empty box.... somemore its cny so plenty of things to be throw away.... See how hardworking we are, whole family pushing the big box there.... haha...

Princess Claudia turns 2

Time really flies.... Claudia just turned 2 last friday.... wow I really wondered how I survived this 2 years.... hahaha..... Happy Birthday Claudia!!!!

Fidgets at Turf City

Just a word to describe the trip - FUN!!!

Nothing can scare my dare devil.... I have seen girls who are older than her but dare not go down the slide or climb up on their own... but nothing is too difficult for my gal unless she is not tall enough to climb, she behaves more like a boy!!!

Evan was super excited!! 3.5 hours of play was not too tiring for him, he just played non-stop and refuses to leave..... He used to be afraid of tunnel slide and shaky bridge but he has really outgrow it.... all this is no longer a problem for him, we can see the confidence in him now....

This is Claudia's rest area.... she was very tired halfway through but of cos she wont sleep there so she took a long rest with all the balls.... sat in there for almost half hour to recuperate her energy!!!

My over-sized babies went to play the kiddy cars while we were having coffee.... but just for a little while, guess its not fun for them,.....

Mummy made Daddy join them for the crawling.... haha... It is not easy for a big size man like him to crawl through all the obstacles with them!!! I was so worried that he will get stucked in the middle of it.... hahaha

Fidgets- Slide Fun

We brought the kids to Fidgets at Turf City on Sat.... It was real fun for them.... Mummy's body was aching with all the climbing and crawling with them!!! Time for me to start exercising haha

Initially we thought it would be too adventurous for Claudia to come down this slide on her own so she was sitting on our lap as she slide down (It is really quite fast) but we under estimated her!!! She came down the slide on her own without fear!!!

There is another long spiral tunnel slide, Mummy tried it too... heehee.... it is not as fast but total darkness in there.... Claudia had no problem with that too....

I love you Mummy

Little princess is adapting to her school very well now, she will dash to her class without saying bye to me :( maybe bcos she feel more secure with her brother around.... Teacher says she is learning fast, she loves to sing and dance....

When Evan was around her age, he used to ask me " Mummy love me?" whenever I am angry until I smile and say I love him... Claudia is smart to use this on me too, is this in the genes??? Whenever I am angry, she will keep saying " Mummy I love you" till I acknowledge her!!! Aiyo... I can't help but to smile whenever she does that.....

Today I left her with Ah Ma when I go for my facial.... At 7+pm (When the sky started to get dark), she asked Ah Ma to call me ..... The first thing she said to me was " Mummy I wan to go home".... oops make me feel so guilty for leaving her there while we were enjoying our dinner at Ikea!!!

Facial

Mummy brought Evan along for her facial for the very 1st time!!!! I had to bring him to PS to see his physician and I din have the time to bring him home before my facial apt so decided to let him try tagging along....

Well... it was not so difficult afterall.... haha... for that 1.5 hr, he can actually entertain himself!!! Initially he was busy running to and fro my room, curious about what the beautician is doing to my face... hahaha....After a while, I din hear anything from him....

They have a small playroom with balls and a movie room, Mummy brought along his VCD but he din wan to watch it alone in the movie room. Actually I dun know what was he doing out there but I am glad that he din create trouble.... haha..

When we were done, he happily dragged us into the playroom.... I asked him wat did he do, he proudly tell us " Play lor, all the Jie² say I am so cute!" Wa super buey pai seh lor.... hahaha....
